COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

By signing up for Hockey Talk, all members agree to:

  • Respect the community, its members, and its founding principles.

  • Recognize that this site was started to provide a meaningful way forward with positive hockey conversations, to lead by example, and to create better communication within our hockey community.

  • Create an honest, real profile that is truthfully representative of your actual identity and your role in the greater hockey community. This includes publicly stating your actual name in your profile, using a real photograph of yourself as your profile picture, and clearly identifying your current roles and connections to the hockey community in your profile description. Any false, misleading, or ambiguous profiles will be removed upon discovery. No exceptions.

  • Comprehend that anything you do, say, write, post, or show in this community is 100% your responsibility. Hockey Talk and its administrators and moderators are not held responsible in any way, shape, or form for your conduct and participation in our community. You represent yourself, so please act and post accordingly.

  • Understand that any form of bullying or abuse will result in immediate removal from the community. Upon discovery, any and all comments of a negative nature will be monitored, edited, removed, or deleted by the community moderators and administrators. No exceptions.

  • Remember that we are mostly talking about youth hockey, here. Keep it classy, informative, and productive. Membership is a privilege.

  • Enjoy the site with personal integrity, and honestly contribute to our hockey community in a positive, productive, informative, inquisitive, meaningful way.
